Gourmet Foodie Food
Every culinary connoisseur knows it takes the finest ingredients to make the most excellent food. Quality, organic and locally raised are beautiful when in season and available. These gourmet staples at Amazon will certainly have the foodie’s pantry ready of any feasts they choose to prepare, or ready on hand for the finest dinner party.
These are simple, elegant foodie gifts that will make your foodies life easier in the kitchen. An excellent clean, shiny new Silpat is great and you can never have too many of them! The elegant cookbook stand is the heaviest to avoid tipping and hardest wearing I could find and will match most European or antique decors.
The green granite pestle and mortar is awesome and one of my favorite kitchen tools. For the real food lover, this is awesome for crushing whole dried peppers, and dried onions and herbs when you are ready to cook with them for a burst of flavor. Or maybe you can pound fresh garlic cloves in with a little salt for brushing with olive oil on the crust of a wood-fired pizza when it is cooked! The weight of the pestle is enough that grinding or crushing your ingredients is easy.
Of course, fine wines go with excellent culinary experiences. Many foodies are also oenophiles or wine lovers too, so here is a great selection of gifts for them to get the most our of their wine! They make an opening, developing flavor and storing their wine easy with these premium gadgets.
And the picnic set is for fun afternoons and sunny days, sitting on a hillside with a hunk of artisanal cheese, fresh crusty bread and a wonderful robust red wine.
Small Kitchen Appliances
I have this Cuisinart stick blender. It is way better than the last blender I had that I wore out making potato, leek, bacon and stilton soup. In comparison, this stick blender is much more powerful and quickly draws all the liquid through the blades without you even having to move the blender. This means you have very few missed lumps in your soup. The little processor base is great for making hot pepper paste and finely chopped veggies.
Any self-respecting foodie should have a kitchen aid mixer. This excellent fire engine red model is cozy and comforting. You can buy accessories and even a cover that holds the attachments. The white glossy kitchen aid mixer blends in with our decor beautifully. We have made a ton of cookies in outs and even mixed the sausage meat and home grew herbs for our own sausage links. It’s a cumbersome duty machine, I am hard on equipment, and it holds up perfectly!
If your foodie friend has ever had deep fried turkey a book that they will know how succulent it is. Now you can deep fry a turkey inside your home instead of freezing out on the deck and be missing out on the holiday fun. With home made ice-cream for dessert.
